You've seen his work; almost everyone has. Featured in magazines and websites around the world, George Pimentel's photographs have so beautifully captured celebrities in golden moments of their careers.

George's passion for the field ignited in 1993 when he snapped a now famous shot of Robert DeNiro, with "one shot" on his Hasselblad camera. George's lens has chronicled the Hollywood zeitgeist from TIFF to Cannes, from the Golden Globes to the Oscars.

Spring of 2014 will see the Magenta Foundation's launch of the quintessential monograph of George Pimentel's celebrity photographs: One Shot: A Lifetime of Work by George Pimentel. The high end publication will showcase over 20 years from his vast archive of photographs taken over the years at TIFF, Cannes, Vanity Fair Oscar Parties, and Sundance, to name a few.
